CHANGEOVER NIGHT
Due to COVID restrictions are Changeover meeting was in a different format to original plans. We still managed to enjoy the evening, though without some of the pizazz we had hoped for!
Acting President Mark, standing in for President Lukarla, made presentations to members and thanked them for their contributions during a difficult year for all of us.
A Message from President Lukarla
Thank you all for being here tonight and helping us celebrate this year’s handover. it is great to have such a supportive team of people around us including our guests, honorary members,
District team and members here tonight.
I would also like to say a huge thankyou to our amazing members for their service and contributions, our club does not run itself it takes no small amount of effort from our leadership team and our members. Everyone plays an integral role in all we achieve.
What a year we have had, we have faced challenges, achieved amazing things, been of service to so many and have had fun and enjoyed fellowship along the way. My goal coming in was that we are a young and busy club and each of us would do what we can, when we can and that is recognized and appreciated. I hoped to incorporate further opportunities for growth, learning and development;
- to connect and collaborate in our clubs and other community organisations;
- to recognize, celebrate, share and
- to maintain an inclusive and rewarding environment for our members.
I hope I have achieved that to some level, and I would like to now go over some of our achievements this past year.
